One of the main aims of the campaign is to find new and effective ways to extend social security coverage in low-income countries. Over the past few years the ILO has already worked with many developing countries on the extension of social security. The activities undertaken have been grouped by geographical region (Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and the Arab States), and for each region, you will be able to find information on technical cooperation and short-term technical assistance.
