New series on the extension of social security: The first publication "Gender roles and sex equality: European solutions to social security disputes" deals with gender equality in the European Union; it describes the most recent factual and legal developments, in particular the case law of the European Court of Justice, in the field of social security.

Within the context of the campaign, the ILO has started up a new working paper series, called Extension of Social Security (ESS) Papers. The aim of this series is to disseminate successful experiences in the extension of social security. The latest four ESS Papers are:
