Glaziers cut, fit and set glass in windows, doors, shop
fronts and other frames.
Tasks include -
(a) selecting glass panes, cutting them to measure and fixing
them in windows, doors and partitions of buildings;
(b) fastening glass panes in skylights;
(c) installing flat or curved glass in shop fronts, swing-doors,
show-cases, portholes or other openings;
(d) cutting, assembling and installing pieces of glass in lead
or copper framework to form decorative windows and panels;
(e) installing ordinary or shatter-proof glass panels in
windows, doors and windscreens of vehicles;
(f) performing related tasks;
(g) supervising other workers.
