Main laws
The main legislative documents on occupational safety and health include the Labour Code and the Decision 93-08 of 12 May 2008. Other legislative documents regulate particular hazards, covering large sectors such as agriculture, services, and the public sector, with a special emphasis on the proper maintenance of facilities. OSH legislation is specific, but the law does not specify the competent national authority for safety and health at work.
