PAGE Ministerial Conference 2017

The Partnership Action on Green Economy Ministerial Conference brought together over 300 leaders from governments, civil society, private sector, development partners, media and the public to explore how our economies and financial markets can be “enablers” for the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

During PAGE Ministerial Conference 2017 "Inclusive and sustainable economies: powering the Sustainable Development Goals", ILO organized a parallel session titled "The search is on (Green jobs, employment and innovation)" with the participation, among other, of the Minister of Labour, Social Security and Human Resource Development of Barbados and the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations of Ghana.

Following the conference, the ILO Green Jobs Programme hosted at its headquarters a high level session titled, “Inclusive and Sustainable Economies: Powering the Sustainable Development Goals" on the 4 May 2017. The session gathered over 20 ambassadors and 200 delegates from the permanent missions to the United Nations in Geneva and was organized under the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE).
