Article 5 of the Convention. Increase in the duration of annual holiday with length of service. The Committee notes that in reply to its previous comment on this point, the Government indicates that current collective agreements make provisions for public and private sector workers to receive increases in annual vacation days based on years of service. The Government has not transmitted, however, any copies of current collective agreements applicable in the agricultural sector including provisions for an increase in the duration of the annual holiday based on the worker’s length of service. The Committee recalls, in this respect, that in the reports communicated in 1979 and 1987, the Government referred to the Antigua Agricultural Industries/Antigua Trades and Labour Union Collective Agreement with regard to the implementation of this provision of the Convention. The Committee therefore requests once again the Government to specify whether the above-cited collective agreement is still in effect and, if so, to forward a copy.
