It asks the Government to indicate any new measures taken or envisaged to extend or adapt vocational training systems to new sectors of economic activity and to all levels of skill.
Article 5. Please indicate the measures taken to give effect to this provision of the Convention, describing any consultative procedures or machinery instituted for this purpose.
Part VI of the report form. Please provide any relevant extracts of reports, studies, surveys and statistics.
Lastly, and more generally, the Committee notes the economic and social difficulties referred to by the Government and the problems associated with the application of structural adjustment programmes and their effects, particularly in the area of human resources development. It also notes that the Government is interested in technical cooperation, and points out that it could request and use such cooperation as a means of promoting application of the Convention. With this in view, the Committee would be grateful if the Government would provide the information requested in Part V of the report form.
