The Committee has taken note of the Government's first report and asks it to supply additional information on the following points:

Article 2 of the Convention. Please specify the standards and guide-lines established under the auspices of the ILO that have been followed for the drawing up of statistics as prescribed in each Article of the Convention (with the exception of Articles 7 and 15 on which the Government has already supplied information in its report). Please indicate also the reasons why there have been some departures from these standards and guide-lines, for example, in the drawing up, by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, of statistics on the labour market, as indicated by the Government.

Article 14 (in connection with Articles 5 and 6). The Government states in its report that detailed statistics on occupational injuries are compiled by the Central Association of Social Security Institutions. Please provide the most recent publication containing such statistics (also including data both on accidents which have or have not been the cause of death and on occupational diseases). Please also indicate the methodology used for the collection and compilation of such data.

Article 15 (in connection with Article 6). Please specify the publication containing statistics on industrial disputes and on the methodology used for the collection and compilation of these statistics. Please communicate a copy of the most recent publication on this subject.
