The Committee notes with regret that the Government’s report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:
Article 7 of the Convention. Statistics. The Committee notes that, since the ratification of the Convention, the Government has never provided statistics on morbidity and mortality among working painters due to lead poisoning. The Committee hopes that the Government’s next report will contain statistics on lead poisoning as provided for by Article 7 of the Convention, while providing information on the statistical methods adopted.
