The Committee notes that in its report the Government informs that a comprehensive legislation on freedom of association is being prepared, designed to unify all existing legislation on the matter in one single act, and to further implement relevant ILO Conventions and Recommendations, as well as the Caribbean Community Model Law on the Recognition, Status and Registration of Trade Unions. According to the report, an advanced draft of the legislation has already been reviewed by the Labour Advisory Board and the Ministry of Justice and Police. The Committee requests the Government to provide any further information on developments with respect to this legislative process and to send a copy of the legislation as soon as it has been adopted.
