Direct Request (CEACR) - adopted 2007, published 97th ILC session (2008)

The Committee notes that the Government’s report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:

The Committee notes with interest the information communicated by the Government in its last report to the effect that the Government is undertaking the extension of the cover, provided by the laws and regulations governing compensation for victims of occupational accidents, to all agricultural employees. It requests the Government to indicate in its next report the measures taken to ensure that all agricultural employees are in practice affiliated to the body responsible for administration of the insurance of occupational accidents system (OFATMA).

The Committee also refers to the direct request it has formulated in respect of the application of Convention No. 17.
