The Committee refers the Government to its observation and requests it to provide additional information on the following points.
Article 8 of the Convention. The Government is asked to provide data relating to the 2001 population census.
Article 9, paragraph 2. The Committee requests the Government to indicate whether a survey is planned in order to compile statistics of average earnings and hours of work covering all important categories of employees or occupational groups in important branches of economic activity.
Article 10. The Committee requests the Government to keep the International Labour Office informed of any developments in statistical sampling relating to wage structure and distribution.
Article 16, paragraph 4. Further to its previous comments, the Committee would be grateful if the Government would continue to provide information on any developments concerning statistics of labour costs (Article 11). It again invites the Government to consider the possibility of accepting the obligations deriving from this Article and Articles 12, 13, 14 and 15.
Part V of the report form. Please indicate the representative organizations of employers and workers to which copies of any reports on the application of the Convention have been sent in accordance with article 23(2) of the ILO Constitution. Please indicate whether the reports have given rise to any comments from such organizations.
