Pursuant to the report submitted by the Government of Tunisia on 23 May 2022, under Article 22 of the ILO Constitution, under Article 22 of the ILO Constitution, the provisions of point (2) of the first article of the Maritime Labour Code do not confer the status of a seafarer on the captain and cadets. Other individuals assigned to specific services or tasks on board may not be considered seafarers. Individuals who work occasionally on board passenger ships, such as singers, dancers, musicians, and duty-free shop vendors, are not considered seafarers
