Allegations

The complainant alleges that the Government failed to enforce a compulsory order for the recognition of the National Union of Hospitality, Catering and Tourism Industries Employees (NUHCTIE) as the majority union in the Turtle Island Resort, and did not counter attempts by the employer to avoid recognition of the NUHCTIE through delaying tactics, as well as efforts to prevent workers from joining the union through anti-union dismissals and interference.
